House of the scorpion, A map we made.

This is House of the Scorpion, we mad a map of what has happened in the book so far.

Artist statement:

We are exploring setting in the book House of Scorpion. So far we have read pages 0-102. Our first litspiration challenge was based on setting. For this challenge we designed a map of where the story took place. In the map, we included the poppy field, the dead guy, the prison, the oasis, The big house, the small house, and opium. At the top, we showed USA by coloring it the color of the US flag. At the bottom, we showed Aztlan by coloring it the colors of the Aztlan flag.
